” Naturism is a lifestyle where people without gender segregation around without clothes when weather and surroundings makes it natural for increased self-respect , respect for others and for the environment. ” International Naturist Federation
There are actually no beaches in Denmark where nude bathing is legally prohibited, but for the vast majority of those wishing to take a dip naked, a designated beach is often preferable to avoid any possible offence to other beach-users.
Ærø’s Risemark Strand is a lovely designated nudist beach (FKK). Here everyone who so desires can leisurely discard their bathing costumes, jump into the blue waves and afterwards soak up the warm rays of the sun.
Risemark Strand was officially inaugurated in 2014, during the Danish Naturists’ Association’s annual Pentecostal convention on Ærø. This fine sandy beach was warmly received and given much praise.
“On Ærø, one can find many undisturbed beaches all over the island and with them ample opportunity for an authentic naturist experience. On the southern side of the island lies one of the best beaches where it is also possible to swim naked. I have taken several trips to Ærø, cycling and hiking, always in close proximity to the sea.”
